Games such as the Diablo series have made a lot of money by bringing new and old gamers together in a game of intense exploration and puzzle solving. But as any good games producer knows, its not enough just to have a great game. You have to make a great presentation too. The Diablo series had a lot of problems with presentation, especially with the Chinese translations. Obviously it wasnt easy to translate Diablo 2 from English to a complex language such as Chinese. On top of that the in-game text wasnt even in Chinese. Diablo 2 actually has a Chinese language pack that isnt required for gameplay. It contains the names of items, monsters, NPC, spells, bosses etc in Chinese. It just has no text for your English-speaking player to read. And thats not really a problem.
